One Connected System for Ujax Engineering

Ujax Engineering runs engineering projects, field operations, equipment and inventory, and a team of employees, all while tracking the finances behind the work. The Candid Solutions is implementing a connected business solution built on Zoho Books, Inventory, Projects, People, and FSM, with Avertium Payroll planned for payroll. The aim is greater structure, better visibility across departments, and less manual administration.

A single engineering project can involve purchasing materials, assigning staff, tracking costs and equipment, and scheduling maintenance. When these run through separate processes, it is hard to see what is happening across the business. Ujax wanted its systems configured around how its teams already work.

Ujax Engineering needed systems that worked together, not just digital versions of individual processes.

The Solution

A multi-application Zoho implementation designed around Ujax's actual operating processes. Zoho Books and Inventory cover invoicing, purchasing, project-based financial tracking, warehouses, stock adjustments, and serial number tracking. Zoho Projects brings project templates, task assignments, timesheets, reminders, and progress dashboards, while Zoho People handles employee records, leave policies, attendance, approvals, and performance responsibilities.

Zoho FSM supports work orders, recurring maintenance schedules, technician dispatch, customer notifications, and Zoho Books integration. Avertium Payroll covers salary, deductions, approvals, and payslips, subject to the agreed scope. The rollout includes data import, workflow testing, role-based training, and go-live support.

The Results

Ujax Engineering now has a connected system covering its finance, inventory, projects, HR, payroll, and field service operations. Teams work from clearer processes and shared information, and management has better visibility across departments.
