We are seeking a an experienced Quality Control Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for fashion, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards. As a Quality Control Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our quality requirements and managing inventory and procurement processes.
Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet established quality standards. Identify and document any defects or quality issues and work with relevant departments to resolve them.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of materials and finished products. Conduct regular inventory audits to verify accuracy and address any discrepancies. Coordinate with the inventory team to manage stock rotation and prevent obsolescence.
Collaborate with the procurement team to source high-quality materials and components. Evaluate suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Ensure timely and accurate procurement of materials to support production schedules.
Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test results, and any corrective actions taken. Prepare and present quality control reports to management, highlighting trends, issues, and recommendations for improvement.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency. Implement best practices in quality control and inventory management.
Ensure all products and processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulations. Work closely with the production team to ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Work closely with the design, production, and procurement teams to ensure quality standards are met. Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss quality issues and improvement initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Fashion Design, or a related field or proven experience in quality control and fashion design, preferably in the fashion industry.
Strong understanding of quality control principles, standards, and methodologies. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using quality control and inventory management software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of fashion materials, fabrics, and production processes.
