Supervisory/Procurement

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Supervisor/Procurement Officer to join our team in the hospitality/food services industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, and supervising a team to achieve operational excellence. This role requires a blend of strong leadership skills, procurement expertise, and an ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage procurement and related activities to ensure efficient operations.

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet company needs and budget constraints.

  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.

  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality standards and delivery timelines.

  • Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations.

  • Review and process purchase orders and requisitions for accuracy and completeness.

  • Coordinate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support.

  • Ensure compliance with all procurement policies and procedures.

  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, supplier contracts, and agreements.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement them without compromising quality.

  • Resolve any procurement-related issues or discrepancies on time.

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure team members are meeting performance expectations.

  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency.

  • Ensure a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to industry regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • 1 to  years of proven experience as a Procurement Officer, Supervisory role, or similar role in the hospitality/food services industry.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain management and procurement processes.

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.

  • Proficient in using procurement software.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
